EDRU Forwards Coach, Ross Stewart decides to move on...
It is with regret, EDRU's forwards coach, Ross Stewart has decided to move on and concentrate his time with the Northampton Saints RFC as Community Officer
During his 2yrs as forwards coach with EDRU, Ross has certainly improved the structure of forwards play and he has enjoyed working along side the players, he has learnt alot about the Deaf community and will use this experience for his future prospects as a community officer
Ross joined Saints after completing a sports studies degree at De Montfort University, Bedford. A former Bedford Blues player, he also has a wad of coaching qualifications in rugby, including Tag rugby, which is favoured by many primary schools in the East Midlands catchment area. He has also worked with Bedford’s Academy.
Away from the Northampton Saints RFC, Ross plays for Olney RFC, is vice-chairman of his local Young Farmers’ Club, likes a bit of windsurfing and the odd round of golf.
"I wish the lads well and wish them luck for the future, there is no doubt in my mind, EDRU; one day WILL be the champions!
...Good Luck to you all"
