Biography: London-born Steph started taking rugby serious in 2016 at her local rugby club after the football season had finished and hasn't looked back since.
She remembers fondly the many hours spent watching rugby with her grandad, himself an Irish hurling international, being inspired by the likes of Brian O'Driscoll.
Steph plays her rugby at Bury St Edmunds Rugby Club, and for the past 2 seasons has represented Eastern Counties RFU, losing narrowly to Essex in the 2017/18 Final of the Gill Burns Cup.
She was also selected to represent England Deaf at the 2018 World Deaf Rugby Sevens in Australia, as well as being part of the squad who beat Bulgaria in September later that year. Coming away as the Top Tryscorer in both series, Steph was honoured to be recognised with the 2018 'Individual Performance of the Year’ award at the West Suffolk Sports Awards ceremony.
