  I won my first England Cap when playing against Scotland Deaf XV in Glasgow and the senior members of the squad made sure I was 'initiated' to the EDRU Squad under the watchful eye of Tony Stoyles, Director of Rugby...and as a consequence, I nearly missed my flight home due to a very heavy night - All thanks to the committee arranging my taxi back to the airport!!......It was a close call!
