  I once captained a 3rd XV at Petersfield which included the former Scotland & British Lions No.8, Derek White.  I have coached the U17 and U14 Girls teams at Petersfield RFC for 4 seasons and each season we reach at least the semi-finals of both the National Cup and the National Sevens Tournament

• Funny rugby story:

  In the bar after my first senior game of rugby the away team instigated 'The Lancaster Bomber Game' which basically involves people sitting in the formation of a plane (as pilot, rear gunner, engines etc).  I was the last engine and had caught fire so, of course, I needed to be extinguished - cue about 30 pints of Guinness, bitter and lager being thrown over me and me going home smelling like a brewery!  I think my mum thought I'd had a very good night!!

  There is no point in playing the game of rugby, at whatever level, unless you enjoy it.  I believe my enthusiasm for the game is one of the main aspects of why I have been as succesful as I am and I strive to improve at every aspect.  It's not the playing, it's the taking apart!!
