Charity of the Month - England Deaf
England Deaf are proud to be associated with Cambridge's Star Radio support as Charity of the Month
To help raise the profile for England Deaf Rugby there is to be a Charity Ball on Saturday 21st November 2009, in the hope of support from local companies and sponsors who may want to support us
And what is that local connection?
EDRU will be playing Ely Rugby Club on 22 November as part of its training regime for the national squad in preparation for internationals against the Wales and Scotland deaf teams in the spring.
This will be the second occasion Ely have been kind enough to host EDRU and provide opposition. It is expected that this will be an annual fixture. And the other connection is that the current England Deaf full back is Charlie James of Chatteris, Cambridgeshire
Cambridge's Star Radio's Charity Of The Month is all about supporting our local charities, giving them a voice, and to raise awareness across Cambridge and Ely.
