England Deaf's Facebook, YouTube Channel and Twitter accounts still receive hourly tweets, messages, and online visits as the early days of celebration passes from the weekend...
There have been many messages from many rugby clubs including countries like: USA, Canada, Australia, New Zeland, Italy, South Africa, Japan.....and closer to home, rugby clubs and Deaf Clubs, schools and some international players have also sent tweets to congratulate the squad!
The response has just been fantastic, and it shows England Deaf Rugby has captured the attention of not only the Deaf Communities, but of those in mainstream rugby from Level 7 right up to Premiership level, a former England Deaf Backrow player, Mat Gilbert who now plays for Llanelli sent his best wishes to the squad on their fantastic win. Gilbert started his Deaf Rugby career way back in 2003 when England's very first Deaf International took place against France Deaf XV in Montargis, France
