INTERNET sensation Harry Westlake has been raising the profile of deaf rugby by learning to sign Swing Low, Sweet Chariot with the players.
Seven-year-old Harry, who is 20 per cent deaf in both ears, shot to fame earlier this year after belting out the national anthem before England's Six Nations.
Now he has been using his stardom to "promote rugby in a different way", according to his dad.
"Deaf rugby is very much a minority sport in the country," explained Harry's dad, Kevin. "Now the England rugby's petered off, he's using the fame and fortune from that to promote rugby in a different way.
"It makes me feel proud to do this, and it's nice to actually be involved with something which is helping to raise the profile of deaf ruby and give young people in Plymouth and the surrounding areas different opportunities in sport."
The England Deaf Rugby team got hold of Harry and Kevin on Twitter, inviting them to an open training day in Buckinghamshire to meet the players and do some interviews.
They taught him how to sign Swing Low, Sweet Chariot - a favourite on the rugby pitch .
Players even filmed him in action, and Harry now hopes to learn the national anthem in sign in time for the Rugby World Cup.
