6 monthly RFU update

By Sean Fletcher

England Deaf senior officials meet with the RFU

“We are in an extremely strong position with the RFU, this is a credit to all the long hours of work supplied by all our volunteers, committee members, players, players parents and sponsors.” Media & PR Team

Chairman - Tony Stoyles, Secretary - Richard Austin, Head Coach - Sean Fletcher have completed the RFU six monthly meeting with the RFU allocated points of contact to discuss the current and progressive plan for England Deaf.

England Deaf are are entering exciting times within the international rugby arena but are still maintaining the core value of making rugby accessible to all deaf, deafened and hard of hearing rugby players.

EDRU meet with the RFU every six months to discuss completed and future planned events ranging from community projects to additional opportunities, it is important for EDRU to balance the financial support supplied by the RFU against all aspects of our requests.

EDRU pride themselves in their ability to enhance the RFU in deaf awareness and the priorities of our rugby deaf communities.
